Built in the industrial zone of Abbotsford sits this secluded family home. Maintaining the existing heritage building at the front of the site, this new addition sits tightly to all boundaries, creating a private space in this otherwise busy neighbourhood.
With the lower level sculpted out of recycled brickwork, the upper level is a crisp concrete brick creating the finer details. The concrete floors and bench tops are softened by surrounding natural timbers.
On a summers day, the living areas open up through huge sliding glass doors, to make the pool and external fireplace feel a part of the house.
